Q-TILITIES acknowledges that we are based in the traditional territories of the Indigenous peoples of the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta. Which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations). This land is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III, within the historical Northwest Métis Homeland.

We recognize these lands and honour the Indigenous peoples who have cared for and stewarded them since time immemorial. We acknowledge that Treaty 7 represents an ongoing relationship between Indigenous peoples and settlers, grounded in respect, responsibility, and reciprocity.
