The Q-MMUNITY Fund is the heart of Q-TILITIES’ social enterprise model. 100% of our profits go into the fund and are invested back into Alberta’s 2SLGBTQIA+ communities through charitable donations and sponsorships.
To ensure balance and broad impact, 50 percent of the fund supports registered charities, while the remaining 50 percent supports sponsorships with non-profits and community organizations. Together, these investments turn everyday energy bills into meaningful support for Alberta’s 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.

Q-MMUNITY Partnerships
Calgary Outlink
Calgary Outlink Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity is a community-based, non-profit charity that provides support, education, outreach, and referrals for 2SLGBTQIA+ and allied communities in Calgary, Alberta. Serving as a connection point for gender and sexually diverse people to community and support, Outlink envisions a world where gender and sexually diverse communities foster connection and care to embrace their authenticity in community and self.

Centre for Sexuality
Centre for Sexuality is a nationally recognized, community-based organization delivering programs and services to normalize sexuality and sexual health across the lifespan. They have been leading the way in the areas of sexuality, healthy relationships, human rights, gender identity, sexual orientation, equality, and consent for over 50 years. They teach, train, and advocate to support healthy bodies, healthy relationships, and healthy communities. They offer several programs, services, and supports to the 2SLGBTQ+ community including:
  • Camp fYrefly Southern Alberta, a five-day leadership and community-building retreat for 2SLGBTQ+ youth
  • Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) Network, supporting GSAs across Alberta
  • From Me to We, a healthy relationships program for transgender, Two-Spirit, non-binary, and gender diverse youth
  • Where the Rivers Meet YYC, which aims to increase the visibility of Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer identities in Treaty 7
  • Free counselling for 2SLGBTQ+ people of all ages, their families, and natural supports
  • Gay Men’s Health Program, offering STI testing, a community-based leadership program, and community engagement
  • Workshops and capacity building for professionals to increase 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion across a wide variety of professional workplaces and sectors

Pride Centre of Edmonton
The Pride Centre of Edmonton is a community-based nonprofit that provides low barrier programs and services for 2SLGBTQI+ people and their allies in the Greater Edmonton area. The Centre works to foster a welcoming and supportive environment where community members can access connection, drop-in support, and essential resources. While they serve people across the full 2SLGBTQI+ spectrum, their programming is intentionally focused on queer youth, trans and gender-diverse adults, and LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum. Their work is grounded in harm reduction and trauma informed approaches and is strengthened through close collaboration with partner organizations, including grassroots and Indigenous partners. At their core, the Pride Centre aims to be a place where people can show up as they are, build connection, and access support, recognizing that safety and belonging are shaped through ongoing care and collective responsibility. Their vision is a community of care, rooted in kinship, reciprocity, and collaboration, where queer and trans people of all ages are respected, honoured, and celebrated.

Skipping Stone
Skipping Stone is dedicated to creating a world where trans and gender diverse youth, adults and their families are affirmed and empowered to thrive. They offer a wide range of services through a comprehensive and compassionate approach which build resilience, community and connection; improve social, mental and physical wellbeing; and advocate for the rights and equity of the trans community.

Stonewall Recovery
Stonewall Recovery is Canada’s first dedicated 2SLGBTQ+ addiction recovery centre. Based in Calgary and serving nationally, its mission is to improve the lives of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals impacted by addiction through specialized, trauma-informed programs and strong community partnerships. By creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space, Stonewall Recovery helps people heal, recover, and build lasting connections. Their work reduces stigma, saves lives, and ensures 2SLGBTQ+ people have the dignity and support they deserve.

Q-MMUNITY Sponsorships
Black Pride YYC
We’re proud to support Black Pride YYC with a $1,000 sponsorship towards their Black Pride Festival. Black Pride YYC is a Black-led organization creating spaces where Black queer and trans people can connect, build community, and experience a true sense of belonging. The festival celebrates the diversity and experiences of Black 2SLGBTQIA+ communities while creating opportunities for connection, visibility, joy, and authentic self-expression.
Calgary Inclusive Hockey Association
We’re proud to support CIHA: Calgary Flare with a $300 sponsorship to help cover player fees for two athletes participating in the 2026 Western Cup Hockey Tournament. The Western Cup brings together players from across Canada and the U.S. for a weekend centred on inclusion, community, and equality in sport. We’re honoured to help ensure more players can get on the ice, connect, and be part of a tournament where belonging matters just as much as competition.
Calgary Pride
We’re proud to support Calgary Pride with a $1,500 sponsorship of the Calgary Pride Festival. Calgary Pride is a volunteer-led, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing visibility, inclusion, and belonging for Calgary’s gender and sexually diverse communities. Through celebration, advocacy, and education, they create opportunities for people to connect, celebrate their identities, and build a more inclusive Calgary where everyone is seen, valued, and able to thrive.
Edmonton 2 Spirit Society
We’re proud to support the Edmonton 2 Spirit Society with a $500 sponsorship of their 2nd Annual 2 Spirit Powwow. The Edmonton 2 Spirit Society works to re-establish and strengthen the traditional roles and responsibilities of Two Spirit people in Indigenous communities while creating supportive spaces for contemporary Two Spirit peoples. Through cultural programming, community gatherings, advocacy, mentorship, and access to resources, they foster connection, belonging, and celebration for Two Spirit, IndigiQueer, and Indigenous LGBTQIA+ communities.
Edmonton Pride Festival
We’re proud to support the Edmonton Pride Festival with a $500 sponsorship towards their Pride Festival. As one of Western Canada’s largest Pride celebrations, the festival welcomes more than 50,000 attendees each year and brings communities together through arts, culture, advocacy, and connection. The event celebrates diversity, uplifts 2SLGBTQIA+ voices, and creates inclusive spaces that foster belonging and meaningful community connections.
End of the Rainbow Foundation
We’re proud to support the End of the Rainbow Foundation with a $1,000 sponsorship of their Annual Pride on the Patio Party. The End of the Rainbow Foundation works to improve the social and economic conditions of people of diverse sexualities through education, support, and community connection. Funds raised through the Pride on the Patio Party support their Calgary LGBTQ+ Private Sponsorship Program, helping bring LGBTQ+ refugees to Calgary and supporting them as they build a new life and sense of belonging in the community.
Okotoks Pride Collective
We’re proud to support the Okotoks Pride Collective with a $500 sponsorship towards their Pride Festival. This community-driven event celebrates diversity, visibility, and inclusion while creating safe, welcoming spaces where everyone is celebrated for exactly who they are. Through connection, support, and community engagement, the Okotoks Pride Collective continues to foster a stronger sense of belonging for all.
QriTical
We’re proud to support QriTical with a $500 sponsorship towards the Q-TILITIES Student Award at their annual Get QriTical! Student Colloquium. This sponsorship helps recognize and celebrate student research and scholarship and supports emerging voices doing meaningful work in queer and trans studies.
Queer Calgary
We’re proud to support Queer Calgary with a $300 sponsorship to their Community Access Fund. This fund helps reduce or remove barriers like participation fees, transportation costs, and other expenses so more people can take part in Queer Calgary’s programs. It’s one small way to help make their vibrant, inclusive, and safer spaces more accessible to those who need them most.
Wood Buffalo Pride
We’re proud to support Wood Buffalo Pride with a $500 sponsorship towards their Pride Festival. Wood Buffalo Pride is dedicated to raising awareness, promoting inclusion, and creating safe spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and families across the region.
